Andy’s iLL + The FranDiscos
|
I’ve been trying to concentrate on NOT listening to extremely heavy house this week because I leave for Bonnaroo on Tuesday, and there really isn’t anything of that sorts in the line up. But these three local DJ/producers are making that task extremely difficult. Andy’s iLL’s remix of “Requiem for a Dream” has been in full rotation for almost a month now, and to be completely honest, I didn’t know it was possible to pack one track with that much bass. With + 79,000 listens on Soundcloud, clearly I’m not the only who thinks this guy has something special to share through his original productions. More recently, he’s just released a monstrous remix of The Weeknd’s heart filled single “Rolling Stone”. I picture this as the end result of the original track having a really bad nightmare. Loud/angry and heavy are three things that come to mind when I listen to this high quality re-imagining, what about you? The Weeknd – Rolling Stone (Andy’s iLL Remix) Next up we have another LOUD offering from the FranDisco brothers. Just like their Channel One mixtape, their WEMF submission is filled with tracks that are built to take full control of a party area. Hey Destiny Productions, you guys would be absolutely crazy not to feature these guys. Just saying. The FranDiscos – WEMF Submission Mix |
