I was lucky enough to catch a sneak peak of this track due to an accidental soundcloud post a couple weeks back. Now I’m stoked to be able to share it with you. Flight Facilities’ newest groovy original returns to the pace of “Crave You” and features the awesome vocals of Hot Chip drummer Grovesnor. “With You” is another example of this pair’s high quality producing capabilities, not to mention a great addition to their already stellar original catalog. Was lucky enough to check out Chris Malinchak over the weekend (thanks to Ambicious C and The Impossible Night). Another rising disco star out of the dance-friendly NYC music scene. This is a sneak peak of his 5 track EP “Ironbound” currently availble through French Express.

Star Slinger’s Horseshoe show last year was one that really stood out for me. Focused on transforming hip hop into dance hall, the guy’s hands were constantly busy creating music (looping, filtering, producing) rather than making a dumb ass heart shape. Here he’s transformed the Toronto anthem ”Crew Love” into something that should be played in every dance cave of our city. Make sure you check his return on May 14th at Lees. Must hear/Must share.
